The brief

Hearingly served patients and healthcare professionals with digital hearing assessments.

Running an audiometry test in a browser is hard. Audio has to be calibrated precisely and respond without lag, and the platform also needed checkout for its services and products.

What we built

We built the app with Next.js and React, then added Strapi and PostgreSQL for content and user data.

Hearing tests run on the Web Audio API with precise calibration, and we worked on audio latency alongside responsive performance across devices.

We also built the full checkout flow, delivered a second complete UI redesign from new Figma files, fixed cross-browser issues, and expanded error tracking and analytics with Sentry and Google Analytics 4.

The result

Hearingly ran browser-based hearing assessments with checkout, on a redesigned interface, with monitoring in place to catch problems after release.
