Headless Shopify developer for hire
I build custom Shopify storefronts that keep Shopify for commerce and give you full control of the front end.
Talk about your projectWhen headless Shopify makes sense
A standard theme is the right choice for many stores. Going headless pays off when the catalogue is detailed, products need configuring, or the brand needs an experience a theme can't give.
It adds work and upkeep, so I'll tell you if a theme would do the job.
What I build
On PolarPro, a camera gear brand, the store ran on Gatsby and GraphQL with these parts:
- Storefront built on the Shopify Storefront and Admin APIs
- Product configurator for camera equipment
- Algolia search with filters made for the catalogue
- Storyblok for products, blog posts and landing pages
- Klaviyo, Yotpo, SendGrid, and affiliate and loyalty tools
Keeping the store fast
Marketing tools are where headless stores get slow. Every pixel, review widget and loyalty script has a cost, so they need to be added with care and measured after each release.

Questions
Can you work in my time zone?
Yes. I work remotely from Islamabad with clients in the USA, UK and Europe, and I'm flexible across PST, EST and GMT.
Do you build on Hydrogen?
My production headless Shopify work is on Gatsby and GraphQL, and I build with Next.js. The Storefront API is the same foundation, and I'll recommend the framework that fits your team.
Can you maintain a headless store after launch?
Yes. PolarPro was a multi-year engagement covering performance work, new features and technical support.
